Hi, I'm Bartosz Jarocki.
I live in Wrocław, Poland, having grown up in the small town of Góra in the western part of the country. I have a bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering and Robotics from the Wrocław University of Technology. I like programming, books, plants, mountain biking, whisky, and traveling the world with my wife, Kasia. The cosmos fascinates me, and I take great delight in gazing at the stars.
Work
I'm a software developer with over 13 years of experience. I started as a C/C++ developer, then transitioned to Android world and now I'm mostly focused on developing great user experiences using React.
I created multiple Android applications from scratch for companies around the world like VisionMedia, DKMS, AAA, PolskaPress or Canal Digital. I helped to create/review/design mobile applications for startups like Bim, Tastycloud, Howdy and Mobile Vikings. I developed a WebRTC powered video conferencing frontend application using React.js/GraphQL/Typescript for Evercast. I also had led development teams many times. If you'd like to work with me DM me on Twitter or just email me.
